Tomorrow: An Embrace Skilled Trades event hosted by the Elgin Middlesex Oxford Workforce Planning and Development Board is taking place at the CASO Station on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about local and government support programs and resources, discover how skilled trades can benefit their workforce, and network with industry leaders. Tomorrow: The Pitch grand finale returns to St. Thomas on Wednesday with a record-breaking $50,000 in cash and in-kind prizes up for grabs. Five entrepreneurs will have the chance to share their stories live at the St. Anne’s Centre. Doors open at 5:30 with the event getting underway at 6 p.m.
