Elgin OPP has charged a 53-year-old Port Stanley man following an alleged assault involving three male youths on Colonel Bostwick Road.
On January 11, 2025, around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of an altercation. The youths claimed they were petting a cat on the sidewalk when a man exited a nearby residence, began yelling, and allegedly assaulted them.
Following the investigation, the 53-year-old was charged with two counts of assault under the Criminal Code.
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in St. Thomas on February 25, 2025.
