St. Thomas Police are investigating a case of investment fraud that has left a local resident out approximately $110,000.
The victim reported to police on Wednesday, January 8 that a company managing their investment portfolio had ceased all communication.
Attempts to contact the company were unsuccessful, and it was revealed that other investors were experiencing similar issues.
The St. Thomas Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch is actively investigating the case.
