A dispute between a St. Thomas homeowner and a contractor at the end of December turned violent.
On Dec. 29, St. Thomas police were called to a home in the city’s south end where the contractor allegedly pushed the owner to the ground and stole a large sum of cash.
The owner then attempted to prevent the man from driving away. And for a short distance, the owner was left hanging from the vehicle.
Police are continuing to investigate.
