It’s a far cry from its glory days, however Port Stanley harbour will be a beehive of activity today (Wednesday).
A 100-foot barge loaded with equipment for Bayham firm ETBO Tool and Die arrived in the harbour Wednesday afternoon.
It will take about 12 hours to be unloaded and then the equipment will be stored in the East Pier parking lot until mid-January.
ETBO Tool and Die – located in Calton – is investing a total of $9.3 million to undertake a 42,500 sq. ft. facility expansion and to acquire new equipment.
The public is invited watch the arrival and unloading from the Municipal Boat Launch Parking Lot or the walkway off Carlow Road.
