The annual Dickens’ Days in Port Stanley will officially kick off tonight (Friday) with the Lighting of the Lights at the Visitor’s Centre at 7.
They’re bringing an extra full weekend of festivities this year, with activities planned throughout the village from November 23th to 24th and again November 30th to December 1st.
This includes the annual horse drawn carriage rides, Victorian carolers, warming stations and more, with residents and visitors alike encouraged to visit the local restaurants and shops, who will be hosting their own specials and celebrations.
A highlight this weekend will be the Port Stanley 200 Winter Market from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Legion, with the Annual Port Stanley Dickens’ Day Night Parade hosted by the Lions and Lioness Clubs taking place Friday, November 29th at 7 p.m.
