Members of the St. Thomas Police Association are preparing for one of their beloved annual events as “Stuff the Cruiser” makes its return to the city this weekend.
It’s all in support of Christmas Care, a local program launched in 1980 to assist lower-income individuals and families with food and gift hampers for the holiday season.
Paul Tunks, President of the St. Thomas Police Association explains the importance of giving back to the community they serve.
With the cost of living continuing to rise, the number of local families utilizing Christmas Care has increased significantly. Tunks says they’ll be collecting donations both Friday and Saturday at the Real Canadian Superstore and Walmart in order to make the holiday season a memorable one for all.
Adding that “Stuff the Cruiser” is celebrating a special milestone this year.
“Stuff the Cruiser” hosted by the St. Thomas Police Association will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and again from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at both The Real Canadian Superstore and Walmart.
