Thanks to a tip from a Good Samaritan, Elgin OPP were able to locate a suspected impaired driver in Malahide.
They stopped the vehicle early Saturday morning on Talbot Line, near Hacienda Road, east of Aylmer.
Thirty-four year-old Jesse Trembley of Aylmer was charged with operation while impaired.
Their licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.
They will appear in St. Thomas on Dec. 31.
The OPP would like to take this opportunity to thank the individual who contacted police and reported this incident. As a direct result, officers were able to safely locate the vehicle and take the driver into custody.
