Elgin OPP are investigating a collision Tuesday morning in Southwold where the driver failed to remain on scene.
Around 8 a.m. officers responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Fingal Line near Scotch Line, west of Fingal.
A man, the lone occupant of the vehicle fled the scene on foot.
He is described as a white, middle-aged man wearing dark clothing. Police believe there is no threat to public safety.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to contact Elgin OPP.
The OPP would like to remind the public to stay vigilant for any suspicious activity near their homes and to report such incidents to the police. By working together and keeping a watchful eye, we can help ensure our communities remain safe and secure.
