The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has issued a 72-hour strike notice to Canada Post, affecting both urban and rural bargaining units.
If no agreement is reached, workers will be in a legal strike position starting Friday.
The union has rejected Canada Post’s latest contract offer, which included 11.5% wage increases over four years and pension protection.
