Under a grey sky and blustery wind, hundreds of people gathered around and across from Veterans Memorial Garden Monday for the St. Thomas Service of Remembrance.
This year’s ceremony included the St. Thomas Police Pipe and Drum Band, the 7th Army Cadets, the Royal Canadian Legion Lord Elgin Branch 41 colour party and the Elgin Regiment.
As has become tradition, a fly past in missing man formation had heads turned skyward shortly after 11 a.m.
