Ontarians can now receive their free flu shot and new, updated COVID-19 vaccine at participating local pharmacies, public health units, and primary care providers across the province.
All Ontarians 6 months and older can receive their next COVID-19 dose as long as it has been six months since their last dose or COVID-19 infection.
It is safe to receive both your COVID-19 vaccination and your flu shot at the same time.
Ontarians are encouraged to speak with a health care professional if they need help determining their appropriate vaccination schedule.
Clinics are available for young children and community members in Oxford County, Elgin County, and the city of St. Thomas.
Public health has a limited number of appointments available only for children from 6 months to 5 years old, as well as their families, who are unable to receive their vaccination at a local pharmacy.
Vaccination appointments for COVID-19 can be booked here and flu shot appointments here.
COVID-19 vaccination clinics will also be available throughout the community for the general public. This includes Tuesday, November 5th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Doug Tarry Room at the Joe Thornton Community Centre.
No appointment is required at these clinics, and influenza vaccines will also be offered while supplies last.
Visit swpublichealth.ca/covid19 for a complete list of clinic dates, times, and locations.
Respiratory season immunization can also be arranged through your primary care provider or a pharmacy.
