Residents of St. Thomas and Elgin County have spent the past few weeks nominating and voting for their favourites in the 50 categories for this year’s myFM Spirit Awards, and the time has finally come to announce the winners!
The 2024 94.1 myFM and Gastech Solutions Inc. Spirit Awards will be handed out live from the St. Thomas Seniors Centre this Friday and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
This will be our 9th annual award ceremony and as Dave Thomson, Senior Account Executive at 94.1 myFM says, it’s crazy to think how much this event has grown over the years.
It’s not only an exciting night for the myFM team and award nominees, but the community as a whole. Thomson, who has been a part of the myFM Spirit Awards since the very beginning, shares the event details for those looking to attend.
We are hoping to have everything wrapped up by 9 p.m., but with 50 awards to be handed out, we will try our very best to keep things moving!
And speaking of awards, the myFM team has added something new for the winners this year.
As we get set for an exciting evening celebrating all the amazing people, businesses and places to visit in St. Thomas and Elgin County, Thomson adds that it wouldn’t be possible without a ton of support.

Reminder- Doors open at 6 p.m., with the event set to begin at 7.
This is a free event for the community to enjoy and no tickets or reservations are required.
The myFM team has spent the past few weeks contacting the Top 3 in each category to personally invite them to the show. If for some reason you didn’t receive a call or message and you made the Top 3, we would love to have you in attendance.
