The Aylmer Police were among area services participating in Operation Impact over the Thanksgiving long weekend, a campaign largely focused on road safety through enforcement of impaired and aggressive driving.
From October 11-14, Aylmer officers laid a total of 15 charges for speeding, 4 charges for stop sign offences, and 1 traffic light charge.
A single charge was also laid for no licence, 3 charges for failing to have insurance cards and 1 novice driver, BAC above zero.
Aylmer Police do note that 1 impaired driver was also charged during this time frame.
