A 15-year-old St. Thomas youth has been charged with assault after a violent altercation at a city high school.
The incident occurred just before noon on Tuesday when police were contacted by school staff about an incident involving two students.
The victim was injured and treated in hospital.
The accused turned themselves in to police and will appear in court at a future date.
It is the third reported case of violence at a city high school since the start of school in September.
