General Motors Canada and Unifor have reached a tentative agreement for roughly 13-hundred employees at the company’s CAMI assembly plant in Ingersoll.
Details of the new contract have not been released, but the union had said talks would focus on wages, job security and better pension plans for the workers who build Chevrolet BrightDrop electric delivery vans and battery modules.
A ratification meeting is set for Sunday.
