Over the noon hour Sunday, an Aylmer Police officer was alerted to a possible impaired motorcyclist.
The 39-year-old St. Thomas man was located and after failing a field sobriety test, was charged with impaired operation.
The accused was taken to St. Thomas where a Drug Recognition Expert with the St. Thomas Police Service confirmed he was impaired.
A search following his arrest uncovered an ultra-high voltage Taser.
He was additionally charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and a dangerous weapon.
He will appear in St. Thomas court next month.
