The United Way Elgin Middlesex is gearing up for the launch of their 2024 Community Campaign with the return of the 3M Harvest Lunch.
Locally, the much anticipated lunch-and-launch event is taking place Wednesday (Sept 18) at the Elgin County Railway Museum, inviting residents to help pay-it-forward through the purchase of a lunch ticket.
Every $20 ticket sold not only includes lunch for the attendee, but supplies a meal to a neighbour in need thanks to the United Way’s partner agencies.
United Way will be serving a sandwich lunch, with vegan, halal, and gluten-free options available.
Those who can’t be there in person, also have the option to pay-it-forward with a $10 meal for a neighbour ticket.
