With an aim of equipping every student in St. Thomas with the essential resources and supplies they need for a successful start to the upcoming school year, the St. Thomas Police Service will once again be hosting their ‘Back to School – School Supply Drive.’
This special edition of ‘Stuff the Cruiser’ returns to the city on Wednesday, August 21st as Samantha Wakefield, Corporate Communications Coordinator explains.
The mission is clear: ensure that every student has the tools they require to thrive in their classrooms and achieve their full potential.
Wakefield notes that with the generous support of our community members, we believe that we can create a positive and lasting impact on the education and future of our young learners.
She gives us a few ideas of what they’re hoping to collect next week.
All donations collected will then be sent directly to our local schools to assist the students who need it most adds Wakefield.
The St. Thomas Police thank their community partners at Doug Tarry Homes, Geerlinks Home Hardware and Impressions Printing for helping make this an annual event.
