With Canada Day coming up Monday, here’s what’s open and what’s closed in St. Thomas and Elgin County.
All municipal buildings, offices, as well as banks in both St. Thomas and Elgin County will be closed on Monday.
Grocery stores including Food Basics, Foodland, FreshCo, Metro, the Real Canadian Superstore and Walmart will be closed July 1st.
The Elgin Centre will be closed on Monday but Galaxy Cinemas and Fit4Less inside the mall will be open.
Most restaurants across the city and county will be open but it’s best to call ahead to double check!
Briwood Farm Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., M&M Food Market will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Cobs Bread will operate from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Shoppers Drug Mart at 410 Talbot Street will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Canadale Nurseries will also be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Family Flowers from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Canada Day.
The LCBO in St. Thomas will be closed Monday, however the Beer Store will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
