The Port Burwell Historical Society has been busy planning their annual Canada Day celebration.
The Canada Day Parade kicks off at the Royal Canadian Legion beginning at 10:30 a.m., and wind its way to the Marine Museum on Pitt Street.
There, the Legion Colour Party will conduct a flag raising ceremony and lead the singing of O’ Canada.
This year, events have been shifted to Pitt Street (between Robinson & Erieus) and the Marine Museum where you’ll find free children’s activities, complimentary refreshments, live entertainment and a Community Information Village.
That’s where you’ll be able to connect with community groups and non-profit organizations that help make Port Burwell and the extended area around us such a vibrant community.
And of course the Harvard formation flyover is back- taking place at 12:30 p.m.
