Canada Day celebrations will span across Elgin County beginning next week and the Township of Southwold is excited to kick things off!
It’s taking place at the Fingal Baseball Park on Sunday, June 30th, where food vendors, music, games and face painting will be set up on site.
The annual Canada Day cake will also be back as we prepare to celebrate our country’s 157th birthday.
Then the skies over Fingal will light up with fireworks at dusk- thanks to support from the Fingal-Shedden Optimist Club.
Gates open at 7:30 p.m., with donations of nonperishable food being accepted upon entry.
