More than 70-thousand children are seeking support through the Ontario Autism Program.
But the Ontario Autism Coalition says fewer than 15-thousand are getting funding for core therapy.
The coalition notes that not all children registered in the program are waiting for core therapy but says most do need services such as speech language pathology, applied behaviour analysis and mental health services at varying levels.
