It’s the last official PD Day of the school year this Friday and to celebrate, the Catfish Creek Conservation Authority has teamed up with Investing in Children to offer some discounted programming to visitors.
It’s all part of Kids 1st Day, a once-a-year event run out of the City of London, that offers free or low-cost fun to children and their families.
Springwater Conservation Area will play host to a number of outdoor activities between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will cost just $3 to participate.
They’ll be offering Adventure Wagon Rides, canoe, kayak and fishing pole rentals, a sand castle building contest and more.
You are reminded that the $3 fee is for the entire event and not per activity.
This year, the CCCA is one of more than 50 London and area organizations, businesses, museums, and attractions that have signed on to take part in Investing in Children’s Kids 1st Day.
