For those planning to head to the states to so some shopping or summertime travel, the OPP are reminding drivers to be extra cautious as construction begins at the Bluewater Bridge on May 29th.
It is set to last several months and traffic delays should be expected.
Police want drivers to stay alert and be ready for slow or stopped traffic near Bluewater Bridge as following cars too closely or not noticing stopped vehicles can lead to serious accidents.
OPP will keep enforcing traffic rules to ensure safety during the construction.
