The City of St. Thomas, in partnership with Elgin County and the Municipality of Central Elgin, will be hosting a free AccessAbility Open House on Saturday, June 1st.
Taking place between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Joe Thornton Community Centre in St. Thomas, the event aims to increase understanding around important disability issues and change attitudes about people living with disabilities in our community.
Door prizes, exhibits, and a vendor showcase will be on display. Free transit to the AccessAbility Open House is also being offered thanks to St. Thomas City Council.
The event is spearheaded by the St. Thomas Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee in partnership with the Elgin County – Central Elgin Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee.
