Some timely news from the City of St. Thomas as splash pads have started opening up for the season.
At this time only the splash pad at Pinafore Park is available for public use as the one at Waterworks Park is temporarily closed for maintenance and the splash pad at 1Password Park is undergoing repairs.
All three splash pads are operated by a touch activated switch and can be used between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily once open.
Aylmer’s splash pad in Balmoral Park opened up last week and is available for play between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily.
West Lorne’s splash pad is slated to be open from June 1st to September 1st from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day and staff in Central Elgin also plan to have the splash pad at Don Yeck Park in Belmont open for the June 1st weekend.
