Municipalities across Ontario are getting ready to host thousands of eclipse chasers.
A number of places in Ontario fall in the solar eclipse’s path of totality, including Niagara Falls.
But you don’t have to drive that far. St. Thomas and most of Elgin county are in that path.
That includes along Lake Erie’s north short in Port Stanley, Port Bruce, Port Burwell and Port Glasgow.
Full eclipse will begin around 3:15 and last until 3:18 p.m. next Monday.
The chart below has additional details for the Elgin locations.
