The St. Thomas Stars are preparing for a busy weekend of action capped by an exciting Family Day matinee game against the London Nationals.
The boys have been utilizing this week to prepare for the stretch of games, following a back-to-back last Thursday and Friday.
Chris Soares, voice of the Stars here on 94.1 myFM hopes St. Thomas can keep up the pace they’ve set over the past few weeks.
Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. and fans should be ready to cheer loud as these next couple matchups could be crucial for the standings. The Stars are tied with the Sarnia Legionnaires at 35 points, but currently sit a spot above in 6th place due to a game in hand.
The team will then hit the road on Saturday, but Soares and broadcast partner David Honsberger will bring you all the action.
And that Family Day event is going to be extra special with poster making and games in the lobby prior puck drop at 2 p.m.
A free post game skate has also been planned and the Stars will be taking part!
