The St. Thomas Stars are getting some well deserved rest this week before they’re set to return to action Friday against an unfamiliar opponent.
The boys played in back-to-back games this past weekend, taking a 3-2 win over Strathroy at home Friday and an unfortunate 4-2 loss to the Lincolns in St. Marys Saturday night.
With the final month of the regular season about to get underway, we’ve teamed with the Stars to “Fill the Rink” on February 2nd as Tim Smart, General Sales Manager at 94.1 myFM explains.
It will be an opportunity for Stars fans to catch the Fort Erie Meteors in action and will also be the perfect night to take in your first game if you haven’t had the chance to do so.
Because not only is myFM offering our listeners free tickets to the game on Friday, Smart notes that a number of prizes will be up for grabs on behalf of the station and our community partners.
And if that’s not enough to sell you, Smart notes that the caliber of talent on display should be.
If you want to help myFM “Fill the Rink” this Friday, you can pick up your free tickets from our office at 300 Talbot Street (Lower level of Grand Central Apartments) between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. or stop by Pizza Tonight St. Thomas, Briwood Farm Market, Who Not Cookies, and Crock A Doodle while supplies last.
Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Joe Thornton Community Centre.
*Please note that those without a ticket will have to pay admission.
