The Pitch grand finale returns to St. Thomas later this month with $40,000 cash and in-kind prizes up for grabs.
Hosted annually by the Elgin Business Resource Centre, this ‘dragon’s den-style’ event will pit 5 finalists against each other as they make their “Pitch” for the grand prize.
We sat down with EBRC General Manager Kevin Jackson, who explains how these 5 unique finalists were chosen.
This includes Advantage Horticulture, Fire Hall Fine Meats, Inclusive Communities Consulting & Life Skills, Raw For Pets, and St. Thomas Psychoeducational Assessments, who will be vying for funds to either start up their business or expand their existing one.
Five local judges will then be tasked with choosing a winner live at the Princess Playhouse Theatre on January 24th.
Jackson notes that last year’s winner Dogs on 3 is a great example of what can be done with support from this annual event.
Those wishing to be a part of this incredible evening can reserve a ticket free of charge- here.
