The YWCA St. Thomas-Elgin is preparing for another year of supporting our residents through the countless social services initiatives they offer.
In doing so, they are actively seeking volunteers for a number of their programs which look to empower local women and their families.
Those interested in giving back to their community are asked to fill out a volunteer applications by January 26th, to allow you to qualify for the Orientation Night being held February 8th.
The initiatives run through the organization provide a significant impact on our community; from supportive housing to fundraising, adult education to youth engagement and even childcare and aquatics.
