The St. Thomas Fire Department is reminding the community that it’s time for that live Christmas tree to go!
While residents may be holding onto anything they can to keep the holiday season going- live Christmas trees can cause a significant hazard to your home the older and dryer it gets.
In St. Thomas, trees can be dropped off at the Community Recycling Centre.
They are currently operating on part time hours of Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
