Have you seen the city’s latest mural?
It’s located in the walkway near 548 Talbot Street and is part of the new ‘Tiny Alley Art Gallery’ downtown.
Titled Symbiosis, artist Meaghan Kehoe used the combination of a fox and young woman in her design to point to the question of how animals and human beings will interact through the age of mounting pressures on the natural environment.
This isn’t the first local piece Kehoe has had a hand in either, as this past summer the artist guided local students through the painting of murals-on-panels, which have since been installed in the same area downtown.
The theme of the ‘Tiny Alley Art Gallery’ is the past, present and future of St. Thomas.
