A heads up to residents of Port Stanley as a road closure has been planned for Bridge Street this week.
The Municipality of Central Elgin notes that Bridge will be closed between Carlow Road and Colbourne Street beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
A detour route of Carlow Road to Warren Street to Colbourne Street has been put in place, with work set to wrap up Thursday around 4 p.m.
For the safety of all residents and visitors, the community is asked for their cooperation in following the designated detour route.
