Halloween is a night that every child looks forward to, and making trick-or-treating a safe and enjoyable experience is everyone’s responsibility.
As we get set for the exciting and busy day tomorrow, the St. Thomas Police Service have shared some invaluable tips for pedestrian safety on Halloween night.
That was Corporate Communications Coordinator Samantha Wakefield, who notes that making sure your trick-or-treater is visible to drivers is vital.
She adds that making sure you can see out of your costume is a must.
Wakefield also stressed that motorists have just as an important job to do on Halloween night as the trick-or-treaters do when it comes to safety.
She reminders drivers just how busy our streets are going to be.
Remember, Halloween should be a night of fun and excitement. By following these safety tips, we can ensure that our kids enjoy the holiday while staying out of harm’s way!
