A 51-year-old St. Thomas resident is facing multiple charges following an incident at a north side address Wednesday.
Police say they were contacted in regards to an unwanted person, after an altercation between two individuals in a relationship turned physical.
Upon arrival, police were made aware of multiple guns in the home, resulting in more charges.
The 51-year-old St. Thomas resident has been charged with:
One count Utter threats cause death or bodily harm
One count Assault
One count Possession of prohibited device or ammunition
Due to the nature of the incident, STP reattended the address and seized a total of 13 guns and several boxes of ammunition.
Once processed on the charges, the 51-year-old was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
