A fun new event that looks to highlight the amazing talents of our local seniors, is seeking audition from those 55 plus!
St. Thomas Seniors Got Talent will make its debut November 4th at 6:30 p.m., co-hosted by Boomers & Beyond Magazine and the St. Thomas Seniors Centre, which is also where the event is being held.

At this time, St. Thomas Seniors Got Talent is seeking out participants for their live auditions, which are set to take place October 4th. Rae gives a few examples of what they’re hoping to see.
For those wondering how exactly the audition process works, Rae says it’s pretty straight forward!
Following the auditions, the chosen acts will get the chance to show off their talents in front of the live audience and judges. Rae notes that while the event is meant to just be a fun night celebrating the talent of our local seniors, there will be something special up for grabs.
Rae adds that all proceeds from the event will be donated to Hospice of Elgin, a much needed facility for our aging senior population.
