The Elgin County Historical Show returns to the Dan Patterson Conservation Area this weekend, featuring two full days of activities and demonstrations for all ages.
The 45th edition of the show hosted by The Kettle Valley Pioneers will run from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, where antique vehicles, farm equipment, and so much more will be set up for attendees to enjoy.
Linda Rimnyak, Treasurer with the Kettle Valley Pioneers notes this will include a Trashing Machine, which will return for its annual demonstration.
Rimnyak says that attendees will also be able to take in the works of an old Steam Engine.
In addition to all the antique vehicles and farm equipment, Rimnyak shares some other highlights of the weekend event
A petting zoo, games, crafts, and even a pedal tractor pull has also been planned to keep the kids entertained.
Rimnyak adds that plenty of parking is available on site.
Like Rimnyak mentioned, admission is $5, with children under 12 free of charge.
