The Elgin County Historical Show returns to the Dan Patterson Conservation Area August 19th and 20th.
The 45th edition of the show hosted by The Kettle Valley Pioneers will run from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
Linda Rimnyak, treasurer with the Kettle Valley Pioneers notes the show will feature a number of demonstrations, antique vehicles and farm equipment, plus so much more.
This includes a threshing machine, which according to Rimnyak will return for its annual demonstration.
Rimnyak says that attendees will also be able to take in the works of an old steam engine.
In addition to all the antique vehicles and farm equipment, Rimnyak shares some other highlights of the weekend event.
A petting zoo, games, crafts, and even a pedal tractor pull has also been planned to keep the kids entertained.
Rimnyak adds that plenty of parking is available on site.
And while the event has always been open to people of all ages, The Kettle Valley Pioneers hope to make the 45th edition of the Elgin County Historical Show even more family friendly.
Like Rimnyak mentioned, admission is $5, with children under 12 free of charge.
