
With Canada Day coming up tomorrow, here’s what’s open and what’s closed in St. Thomas and Elgin County.
All municipal buildings, offices, as well as banks in both St. Thomas and Elgin County will be closed on both Saturday and Monday.
Grocery stores including Food Basics, Foodland, FreshCo, Metro, the Real Canadian Superstore and Walmart will be closed July 1st.
Briwood Farm Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, M&M Food Market will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Cobs Bread will operate from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Shoppers Drug Mart at 410 Talbot Street will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Canadale Nurseries will also be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Canada Day.
The LCBO in St. Thomas will be closed Saturday, however the Beer Store will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Lynhurst Esso & Variety will also be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. all weekend, including for the purchase of alcohol and fireworks.
