Aylmer Police have charged a 27-year-old Vienna man following a domestic assault incident.
Shortly after the noon hour Thursday, police were called to a disturbance at a residence which was still active upon arrival.
An investigation determined that the male assaulted a female victim, resulting in his arrest. During a search of the suspect, a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine was also located.
The 27-year-old has been charged with one count of assault and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
Police do note that the victim did not require medical attention.
