Our coverage of Canada Day celebrations continue this week with The Municipality of West Elgin.
All the excitement is set to take place this Saturday at Miller Park in West Lorne, where a number of food trucks will be present throughout the event.
Opening ceremonies get underway around 3 p.m. at the Pavilion, with family friendly activities running until 8. This includes inflatables, family style picnic games, rock painting, first responder displays and more.
Attendees can also take advantage of free swimming from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rodney Pool.
Live entertainment by Easy Mark Band will keep the crowd entertained before the fireworks show at dusk.
