Canada Day celebrations will span across Elgin County once again this year, and the Township of Southwold will kick things off!
Taking place at the Fingal Baseball Park on Friday, June 30th, attendees can take in music by A&M Sounds, visit Dotsy the Clown to get your face painted and celebrate Canada’s birthday with some cake.
Then the skies over Fingal will light up with fireworks, thanks to support from the Fingal-Shedden Optimist Club.
Gates open at 7:30 p.m., with donations of nonperishable food being accepted for the Caring Cupboard.
A rain date of July 2nd has also been put in place.
