An annual event previously run out of London that showcases over 100 unique Canadian brands, looks to grow on its success when it makes the move to St. Thomas this weekend.
Running Friday, June 2nd and Saturday, June 3rd, the Modern Mom Show brings a unique spin to your typical vendor show as Creator Sabrina Maulucci explains.
And that roof belongs to the Joe Thornton Community Centre, which will now play host to the two day event going forward. Maulucci, who is also the owner of local business The OVer Company, explains the reason for this exciting move to St. Thomas.
Taking inspiration from the Palm Springs theme they’ve utilized in the past, Maulucci notes the 2023 Modern Mom Show will give attendees a full California experience.
And a big part of that experience as Maulucci points out is socializing and making new friendships with other moms and dads. She notes how important making these connections are, especially for new parents.
A number of spaces and lounges at the Modern Mom Show have been designed to do just that, including a special area just for the dads adds Maulucci!
In addition to the countless clothing, home and lifestyle companies that will be on display, Maulucci says attendees will also have the chance to sample products, including one for busy parents.
The Modern Mom Show will run Friday, June 2nd from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. And while kids are welcome anytime during the two day event, Maulucci notes that Friday has been deemed a Stroller Free Night.
Tickets to the Modern Mom Show are available online, with kids under 12 being free! Maulucci notes that this is the perfect opportunity to get out and have some fun with other parents, while also supporting small businesses.
She adds that loot bags featuring gifts, samples and coupons to utilize during the show, will be given to the first 100 guests who enter the event each day!
