The Easter long weekend is fast approaching and if you’re wondering how to spend it, Port Stanley has celebrations covered!
The annual Easter Egg Hunt Train returns to the village next week, running April 7th through 9th at the Port Stanley Terminal Rail.
The 1 hour expedition will bring riders to Whytes Park where a special guest will be waiting reminds Dan Vernackt, President of the Railway.
Tickets to the Easter Train are available online, with adults being $20 and children 2 to 12 years of age $12.50.
Trains are set to leave the station 3 times a day, including 11 a.m.,1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Those who attend are urged to show up roughly 20 minutes before their train is set to depart to allow time to park and get checked.
You can also stop by the Port Stanley Library on April 8th for an Easter celebration hosted by the Kettle Creek Swans.
Beginning at 10 a.m., those 12 and under will have a chance to meet the Easter Bunny before hopping over the bridge to the legion for an egg hunt.
