My dream of starting Lumberjack Treets started several years ago, with a love of scones and a best friend who would listen to me ramble on about my dream of owning a little bakery business. When the pandemic happened, I returned to work following mat leave as a Registered Nurse, into a completely different world of health care. Baking became an outlet that brought me a little joy in the chaos. So with that best friend still listening, she gave me the nudge I needed and said I should get myself in gear! Lumberjack Treets was launched in January 2023 to share baked goodies with the community, donating proceeds to charities in our community and dear to our hearts and with a focus on sourcing local ingredients and being environmentally friendly. So far, it has been a fantastic journey; meeting many wonderful people in our community and enjoying sharing the experiences with my family has been the highlight.
