He’s an NHL star who’s very proud of where he came from.
And because of that, current New York Islander and former West Lorne Comet Bo Horvat, is putting his support behind his hometown arena in their quest to win Kraft Hockeyville 2023.
In a message sent by Horvat to West Lorne, he encouraged the entire community to get involved and wished them the best during voting.
Horvat, who grew up in near by Rodney, spent a large portion of his youth at the West Lorne Arena, learning, making friendships, and life long memories.
The NHLer noted in the touching message that he’ll always be a Comet at heart!
Horvat isn’t the only hockey star backing the West Lorne Arena as voting begins Friday, with products Mike Oliveira, Justin Azevedo and James Dunn also showing their support.
