Nikki Chase (nee Ross) was born and raised in West Lorne. Sixteen years ago, she jumped in as a young entrepreneur and opened Ross &Co Salon in West Lorne. Her parents’ support and encouragement made this dream come true, and the business has been nothing short of amazing. The support from the local community and surrounding areas is unbelievable. Being a hairstylist was a passion for Nikki from a very young age. Every day seeing clients leaving smiling, feeling more self-confident, and rebooking their next appointment is rewarding for Nikki.
In November 2022, another opportunity and dream came to life for Nikki, and she opened a second business. This business is called Rusty & Ross and is in Rodney. When she’s not at the salon, making everyone beautiful, she loves crafting, upcycling and repurposing whatever she can. Rusty & Ross is a vintage store. Full of repurposed, upcycled, homemade items. The shop also features other local businesses as vendors, allowing them to offer their items in a local storefront. Opening this business has brought so much joy to everyone.
Nikki’s super supportive family is all a part of the venture, whether it’s spending time at the store or making stock. Over the years, Nikki learned when a door opens for a new opportunity. Be ready and willing to walk through it. Embrace the opportunity and do the best you can.
