Michelle is the owner and Head Designer at Uncommon Blooms, a small, family-owned flower shop in Port Stanley. She started her floral journey at 18, working in the local grocery store’s floral department. She discovered her love for flowers and enrolled in floral design at Fanshawe college. Having 20 Industry years under her belt, she was excited to open her flower shop! It’s scary starting your own business, but so rewarding. She loves her job; flowers bring happiness and joy to others. Florists celebrate life’s most significant milestones with their clientele, weddings, new babies, and anniversaries, and have the honour of remembering your loved ones with custom sympathy arrangements. She loves working in a smaller community and getting to know her customers personally. The local support has been outstanding!
